A resilient US electrical grid that has been thoroughly updated and improved with the latest technology.

A West Coast unified water management regime that unilaterally cancelled all pre-existing water rights.

A national high speed rail network.

A national single payer health care system.

A federal, universal, single payer school system with per student funding and no segregation by area codes or any other method.

i think you probably want to do something to limit student commute time, but I also think the US should reduce the student:teacher ratio by a third and build or repurpose whatever buildings you need to do to make that happen, which would reflect existing segregation but remembering being a kid, I'd much rather have an extra hour of sleep every day.

A world that has been healthy and devoid of any totally-not-American-bioweapons for the last 2.5 years because we locked down for 2 weeks back in 2020.

Let's both point and laugh at those weirdo Canadians, who call a filling station a "gas bar" :kkkanada:

If it makes you feel better, people in New Jersey and Oregon aren't allowed to pump their own gas

Why would you even want to pump your own gas, leave alone the average weirdo to do it. It's dirty and dangerous, especially considering there are capitalists out there.

Capitalist academia cannot be trusted, under socialism cables will not tangle. We have nothing to lose but our knotted chains.

I wonder if you could make a type of cable that gets progressively stiffer the more you bend it, resisting tangling while retaining enough plasticity to be useful...

This does exist, it's called Miracast. Basically every tv, phone, and computer had it as a base feature about 10 years ago, only for it to get discontinued on more and more things because unfortunately it kind of sucks due to the inverse square law making wireless communication kinda sucky.

The biggest problem was latency, even though it would support 4K60 video, there could sometimes be multi-second delays.
