I imagine a community that encourages cross-pollination of social media platforms, like this proposal, will play a role, at least once we get everyone we can from the Ark and from outreach to adjacent subreddits.
One of the most important things for me is enabling federation with Lemmy. Whether that's full blown federation of both sites or just the opportunity for users each to subscribe to the other's communities, that will give an immediate boost to both and deliver on the whole point of federation.
