The mods of all the major communities there remove comments criticism Hexbear
and usually follow it up with a ban. It’s absolutely clear what is happening and
it shouldn’t be allowed to continue.
I'm sorry I was too diplomatic in my response to the question. I've been gone a while, I feel like I need to "be civil" everywhere online. It wont happen again.
well there's the genocide of indigenous americans, chattel slavery, the hindustan famines, colonialism in general, and... i dunno, the dead romanov kids?
If someone is willing to defend nazis, and tries to "both sides" nazis and people fighting against them, they are a nazi and should not be welcome anywhere.
i have absolutely no insight into what is going through that moderator's head. i don't care to justify their actions on a board that i did not know about until i read that thread. i came to hexbear after r/cth got banned and then went offline for a few years so i don't know all of the lemmy drama lore.
i just think it's really funny that someone is this upset about being temporarily banned from a forum for being a tedious centrist loser.
all this for being banned for a week for saying "shooting nazis makes you the same as the nazis"
this is so out of place and context (idrc about it) but how is a ban justified for a single opinion comment like that lmao
For the record and so people stop reporting it, user was comm b& for a week for posting this. Comment left up for those who want to continue dunking.update: I decided AutomatedPossum was right, ban is now permanent

Don't get me wrong, America isn't good or anything. In the context of ww2, the allies were far better then the axis powers.
yeah i was just doing the not what they meant thing.

Pro-nazi apologetics will not be tolerated, under any circumstance

Just make a new account.
There is no due process here and there doesn't need to be
the only problem i see here is that somebody who openly defended nazis was banned for just a week, that's way too lenient
You're right, made it permanent
