I could see his point if this series didn't have a nineteen year old making vroom vroom noises while playing with toy planes blow up a super weapon. Or literal teddy bears own the United States army. Realism isn't a concern when it comes to star wars.
That was more for rey in The force awakens, you had to be deeper into the manosphere to be offended about Jynn Erso.

Rey had the disadvantage of having her backstory rewritten twice.
Rey wasn't the greatest character in a lot of ways, the movies did suck, but not for the reasons chuds mald over.
