To any lurking liberals, I assure you that literally everyone here would celebrate if anyone threw Trump in a pit and tossed in a grenade. You on the other hand would be horrified and liberal media would instantly tell you to consider this a terrible thing. You would go along with this, like you go along with literally everything liberal media tells you.

We oppose him significantly more than you do. The difference here is that we'd also celebrate if that happened to 99% of the genociding war criminals that thoroughly deserve it in the party you advocated for too.

Someone link to this in that thread or something I don't know.

Rachel Maddow wagged her finger at us after spending years making money by comparing trump to hitler.

Like if you really thought trump was hitler and you thought hitler was bad, wouldn't you be happy if he got sick and/or died? When trump made covid disastrously words with his response?

Not if you're a lib apparently.

Terrible news! The Senate Republicans have discovered necromancy through our bipartisan immortality bill and created a phylactery for Donald Trump! We condemn Trump's status as an undying lich and we will fight for you! But we need your support! It's crucial that you vote in the coming elections for the next century and donate to the DNC.

It's extra funny cuz I regularly see liberals yearning for the death of regular republican voters. I've seen r/neolib poster fantasize about "culling the redneck population of middle America" in a civil war.

So, you're down to slaughter ground level Trump supporters but the idea of their dear leader choking to death upsets you? That'd be like if I jerked it to the idea of running over a regular Wehrmacht soldier with a T34 (which I do actually) but was AGAST at the idea of someone sniping Hitler.

Do any lurker Libs wanna explain this weird double standard to me?

I think it just gets too personal for them. A million is a statistic.

Or maybe it's a different set of rules diluted from or diluted into what we see in media today. The villain gets a chance at redemption while the faceless mooks just fall down and dispose of themselves.

But with a single figure like trump, it's personal connection and the chance to be the bigger person. Just prove him wrong and you can change the world without a big disruption of the status quo.

Can't have one of your betters die off, just put more faceless people into the meat grinder.

If leftists took over the country they would, ideally, form a worker's tribunal and execute Trump (or at least chuck him in a pit). When liberals run the country they just hope some state-level courts will make Trump pay large sums of money.

If Trump is a dangerous fascist, which method would stop him? Which method would allow him to continuously run for office?

"Typical of tankies -- resort to extremism. We could just pass a law that bans Trump from being president. No violence needed and we can uphold Western values."

Then why haven't you done it? Oh that's right, the precious system can be easily captures by fascists. Almost like it was designed that way. If only some tankie had written some books about this...

"Folks, the bourgeois, they're no good everyone is saying it. All these workers, very handsome workers come up to me and say, Comrade Trump there is a specter haunting Europe, and you know what, they're right. These bourgeois are very nasty people very very rude and very unfair to the workers. They are stealing our surplus value and no one is doing anything about it. The proletariat comes up to me everyday and says, Comrade Trump will you lead the revolution? And I gotta turn to them and say, Look the instruments of capitalism will be used to bring about its destruction believe me you gotta trust me on this one. The means of production, obama never wanted to seize them. Well guess what? I'm seizing them. Landlords? They're done for folks. Everyone told me they said, Comrade Trump you won't be the vanguard of the revolution and they would laugh, the media laughed the democrats laughed, guess whose laughing now?"

Biden's supporters would tell you he is doing 44D chess so Trump looks bad in front of his supporters for reneging on an immigration bill (How does it work? Who knows)

Totally different from MAGA chuds telling you Trump's incoherent rants in 2016 were 444D chess

A lot of people don't understand that there is a difference between liberal and leftist which makes them automatically assume that anyone speaking negatively of liberals must be a conservative. A consequence of Americans calling their centre right party "the left".

I think there's an even more pernicious problem, a lot of people understand the difference between liberal and left in theory, but they think of themselves as being leftist. They also think they are, right hand to God, as left as it gets, and anyone to their left is actually an authoritarian. This leads to these people becoming contrarians against everything actual leftists are saying or trying to accomplish in the real world, because they are the true arbiters of everything that is good and moral, and they don't think of it that way, therefore everyone else is a fascist.

For a political movement to actively despise "authoritarianism" is just stating from the start that you're allergic to wielding power. But the problem is that western left has a dogmatic aversion to wielding power.

Go ahead, lemmitors, call the people on here that can cite evidence and quote theory effortlessly "right wing trolls" and fake leftists, while every single argument I've read where one of them participate is AT BEST just a sophist making extremely general and vague assertions (muh human nature, muh authoritarianism) while they get bodied by a dozen effortposts. They even have the gall to claim all we do is post emojis instead of argue, but they're just telling on themselves because Hexbear usually will hit you with substantial responses if you're engaging in good faith, the PPBs are for the reddit-logo tier chauvinist takes.

I'm getting increasingly :doomerdoomer over how significantly different their little mind palace is from reality. It's like, they live in a game with well defined rules and ignore every example where the rules don't apply, then act smug over the rules, like everything is figured out.

The classic vote response is so demeaning. Like no, that is obviously not helping us, anyone we can vote for is actively paid off by the orgs and people we're trying to defend ourselves against. The only way to get in a position where someone can even vote for you is by being completely bought out. The democracy will be undermined by millions of dollars to the opposing candidate every time you step out of the pre-approved script, and even if the rare good officials win out, they've just had all their mental effort sapped away for months to defend against them.

I honestly don't know how they'll react when Trump wins. They're so far gone, they refuse to even imagine that scenario.

Though, I guess I do know what they'll do, they'll grumble and complain and do absolutely nothing to stop this "tyrant" from destroying America, they "voted" which means that all the pain and suffering Trump causes people will be blamed on the victims for not voting hard enough. :/

Since I know we have some comrades in the posting trenches, I figured out a good way of explaining it to them:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD7Ol0gz11k

This was a pretty popular clip, they might have seen it. Pierce Morgan is treating this communist as an Obama-supporter because he is so brain-rotted that anyone criticizing Trump must have Obama as their sacred cow, completely failing to understand that there is discourse outside of that limited political spectrum. They are doing exactly the same thing with the Dems.

As an aside, the General Discussion thread currently has as its thumbnail a cartoon of a shotgun being leveled at Ayn Rand's head with "Class Consciousness" written on it. Come on, I won't argue against that the site is genuinely full of libs, but that their intentions are communist could not be more ham-fisted.

"Actually he's a very competent and serious person who should be taken seriously, why do you support trump?"
