Idk what it is but blue pill ultraliberalism just does something to the average straight white male selfie pfp mf that just makes them the most cucked individuals in existence (when they're not yelling slurs at minorities for criticising dear leader), he lives in a fucking solid blue area, he knew it would be safe to not vote before the election and he knew it was safe after but he's still sitting in the confession booth every Sunday crying about his existential guilt over how he didn't pointlessly prostrate himself for hilldawg 8 years ago

Maybe he’s got some delusions that if Hillary’s popular vote lead was even bigger, it would’ve further undermined Trump’s “mandate.”

I think he is saying that by deciding to not vote for president he also didn't vote for anything else, like senators or propositions and shit.

"Lesser of two evil" voters are unironically evil.

There is no obligation to vote for a candidate because you think they are more likely to win if that candidate is unambiguously in support of evil policies like genocide, brutality against immigrants, and so on. In fact, there is a moral obligation to vote for someone better should you have the opportunity. There can be a moral case to be made for other actions as well.

Now, many liberals will try and argue that whatever alternative candidate you propose cannot win. This is just a form of DARVO; Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender, a strategy of master manipulators. They are the reason the good candidate does not get the votes. They are the ones refusing to vote for the best candidate. They then try to blame you, the person making the moral choice, that your moral action is a waste and their immoral action is the only legitimate one. It only seems so because of their carefully crafted sophistry. Do not fall for it.

They will try and use the consequences of their compromised candidate losing as part of their argument but it is irrelevant. Consequences are a result from any action or inaction. Consequences are not a barrier for the moral person to moral action; they are an excuses of immoral actions of immoral people. Besides, whatever argument they can present here is an argument in favor of the more moral third party candidate anyways.

Lastly and most importantly, voting is not gambling and therefore does not follow the same rules. In gambling you bet on a result you expect to happen. In voting this is an overall losing strategy and anyone who has paid attention to politics for more than a decade or two can see it transparently. The only path forward is to support candidates, policies, or actions that further your morally driven social and political goals. Anything else is a distraction at best and at worse, something that actively injures those goals.

As always, fuck liberals and death to America.

Libs literally can't comprehend that the only reason we're getting any slight concessions on Palestine from liberal politicians is because enough people who might otherwise vote for them for "harm reduction" or whatever other reasons are voting third party / not voting instead and they're trying to coax voters back.

Radlibs just want to completely defang every movement of any possible slight threat to power and instead use the amazing political strategy of begging like a starving Dickensian orphan "please Sir, may i have some concessions Sir?" while attacking anyone who tries to fight for the rights of the very real starving orphans being bombed by the fascistic tiktokers and angrily denouncing anyone who criticises the abusive orphanage owner too much for starving the children in the first place

We are? Some finger wagging and enough supplies for less than 1% of Gaza (while also still sending bombs to Israel) is hardly even a slight concession.

Disturbing to hear him suggest that as a leftist primaries will have less effect than the general election. Just a status-quo liberal pretending they're anything but center-right.

Oh look, more grandstanding and moralizing from the party currently funding a literal genocide

This crap is fundamentally wrong for a litany of reasons. Firstly, it assumes that all we can do is vote for the least-bad candidate or party, instead of engaging in something more materially helpful. It reeks of low expectations and a lack of strategy, which liberal politicians are more than happy to capitalize on; it's a thought terminating cliche by now, and has been for decades. Only grifters and fools should still be engaging in this in 2024.

It also often implies that, because none of the parties want what we want, we should vote for the candidate most likely to defeat the conservative whack jobs in a given election because conservatives will do the most harm if they’re in government, so it defacto means voting liberal.

But approaching elections with Anyone But the Conservatives/Vote Blue No Matter Who as a guiding principle is dangerously wrong because, as some of our more patronizing visitors fail to understand, it underestimates just how aggressive liberals are in serving the capitalist class, or how apathetic towards human rights they are in general.

It is a liberal government that watched Roe get struck down while doing nothing, after decades that could've been used to codify it. It is a liberal government now that maintains 'migrant camps' on our southern border. It is a liberal government that runs guns to apartheid regimes engaging in ethnic cleansing. It is a liberal government that shot down any hope of increasing the federal minimum wage any time soon. It is a liberal government that has thus far failed to enact any sort of single payer health insurance. It is a liberal government that enacted austerity to try and curb inflation, killing the poor on multiple ends. It is a liberal government that restarted student loan payments when Joe could have ended them with a penstroke. It is a liberal government that completely punted doing anything on ending COVID.

It is a liberal government that is actively, materially harmful to many people.

You wanna guilt me into voting for Joe? Go fuck yourself

Shit like this makes me appreciate the ones who come in here and try to educate us on how "genocide is good when we do it actually, the other genocide would be worse." At least the ones who speak with us directly risk being called out for their bullshit. Douchebags like this just making videos encouraging their supporters to be an even bigger echo chamber are cowards. (and grifters too, by the look of things.)
