    Forever ashamed that the thing that broke my egg is the pig shit piss owl website for a podcast that sucks balls

      Yeah, feels like a ton of "leftist" spaces are weird about trans people, if not just outright transphobic. Meanwhile a lot of the spaces that are not specifically for trans people but are queer friendly tend to be super lib. Hexbear is basically the only place on the internet where I don't feel like I'm surrounded by chauvinists of some kind or another. It's great here.

    I personally main cis, but trans is a pretty good build so I’m happy we have a space to discuss optimisations for that here 🤗

        tbh true but we've also had an unusually high influx of trans people post federation that wouldnt be accounted for in the poll

          I'd be really curious to see the numbers now! I had an account here before I had one on Blahaj Lemmy, but I sure did spend more time there in general until they got gross about Hexbear and commies in general.
