    They're bluffing. It's like when a band walks off stage early, waiting for the audience to applaud enough that they do one more song. At some distant time it was a real thing a band did, but now it's just a ritual.

    There's no way it won't be released at some point on streaming. Cynically: I wonder if they're trying to recreate a "Snyder cut" movement?

    Still...a 90 million dollar superhero movie like this being "shelved" is pretty wild. Tv pilots get written off all the time but you don't really ever see this kind of thing happen with superhero tentpoles. Wild time we're living in.
