It's the worst excuse for an argument ever. "Uhh, if you kick your own puppy that's bad, but if you travel half-way around the world and kick some random persons puppy that's actually cool and good because reasons. Why do you hate freedom?"

Like what the fuck is that even supposed to mean?

    Who would win?

One of the most musically adept & influential artists of his era, with a thoroughly researched & well-informed political opinion?

    or

    One Grinning Treatboy?

Looking forward to the Reddit meme where they make him yellow (in a totally not racist way) and having gay sex (bad) with Xi Jinping

If the interviewer thought that Waters was as provably wrong as he so smugly believes, he should have just sat back and let the man talk.

So either the interviewer knew Waters was right, and had to interrupt him to start arguing about WWII alt-history nonsense

Or the interviewer genuinely believes his own propaganda and can't hold in his smug superiority long enough to actually do his job competently. I'm pretty sure it's this one by the way

It's definitely this one. The results of US indoctrination.

he's one of the most vocal celebs that supports Palestine. When you support Palestine, you'll see the bigger picture of US Imperialism's role in sowing chaos in the world. It's impossible to ignore.

Id agree, huge fan of them, but I'm pretty sure Gilmour is a reactionary but still. Huge statement from Roger, immediately made me like him quite a bit more. I always knew he was the most radical member, but I had suspected it would stop prior to defending existing socialist projects. Happy surprise 😎

Gilmour did support Corbyn. I wouldn't say he is a reactionary. Maybe just standard Lib?

Sticking with Corbyn in 2019 was definitely a touch more than "standard lib" with the antisemitism and IRA terrorist smears in full swing. There's definitely a split among demsocs and the soft-left with the actual communists over Ukraine. The Trots are split on it too. Even the fucking Maoists are debating Taiwan. Just about the only group that isn't split at all right now are MLs. Anarchists in the UK are generally not involved in any opinion of foreign policy or geopolitics they're completely absorbed in domestic praxis and aren't drawn on it, partly because they're way to small and have no large guiding influences so they're just little groups getting on with it.

ML's on the correct side of history again, might I say 😎

Honestly I might have just assumed since all the lib/reactionary Pink Floyd fans latch onto David as a way to avoid Roger and his more obvious politics. It would be so nice to know the whole band is at the very least Corbyn and left of that.

Watched it again and the most revealing part to me is where he says, "why is it always the West's fault?!"

Let me count the ways, fuckhead. At least Roger was smart enough not to engage and say, "go pick up a book." Because he's right - there's no winning if you reduce western destruction and adventurism down to mostly feelings and a little, "they do stuff, too."

    Go fuck yourself, CNN.

Roger waters has always been good. And without him, it isn’t Pink Floyd.

This is a hill I will die on.

Hey, if you don't want your records I'll have them! 😎

Haha, it was just symbolism for my respect for roger continuing to be decliing.

Also, atom heart mother is an awesome album.

These fucking losers don't even have the conviction to burn an album over this. Literally all Liberalism is posturing and hollow symbolism.
