I know it's because it's a pigment in the skin which blocks sunlight when present, but is very annoying that higher albedo people absorb more sun. It's like how endo and ecto thermic mean opposite things in chemistry versus biology
I don't think so. The pigment itself is dark, so even if our range was different as long we still mostly saw visible light it would look dark. We have UV cameras though, so maybe see if humans look different under them.
Most sporting events are over 3 hours
Sunscreen is supposed to be reapplied every 2 hours. Probably even sooner depending on the brand
Non-American sunscreen at least works better during those two hours tho, american sunscreen is trash tier
what I’ve never heard this, do we have worse sunscreen on top of worse healthcare for the skin cancer

Yea its been the case for at least a decade
There has been a long standing ban on bringing bottles as they can be used as projectiles. Water is a new exception due to the heat and limited amount of places to get water.
Oh yeah, I forgot that sports ball enjoyers in ingerland go batshit insane if their team loses
Or if their team wins, or there's a tie, or if the game is called on account of rain
If this is the reasoning the actual solution is to put up sunscreen stations throughout the stadium with free available sunscreen in giant pump bottles, not just ban sunscreen ffs
you can build a :nuke: out of sun screen some duct tape and a paper clip
Man City as well lmao.
I personally thought they'd be fond of all the plastic bottles and microplastics in the spray on sunscreen, if you know what I mean
i have no room to talk, because i have been and still am stupid about UV protection. at the very least i do polarized sunglasses and a hat, as my light eyes are sun sensitive. i carry one of those spf 55 wax sticks for my schnoz everywhere if i'm gonna be outdoors walking around a lot and do put on lotion if my pale parts are in a sunny place (swimming or where there's white sand). and we always set up some kind of a sunsail or umbrella cluster if that's an option.
suncream (LMAO) is ok for avoiding burns if you're constantly greasing yourself down.... but, the smart play is to cover your skin. light layers, long sleeves, even a hood. high latitude honkies rarely seem to understand this, preferring instead to get as naked as possible and absolutely scorch their skin. meanwhile, equatorial people who work and spend tons of time outdoors in the sun are invariably in long sleeves, hats/hoods, long lightweight fabrics, pants.
the sun makes the planet warm enough to support life and plants have learned to steal it's power, but make no mistake it is a cruel god. do not look at it. cover and hide yourself from its murderous gaze!
Yeah I generally wear long sleeves even if it’s pretty hot bc I hate the feeling of stuff on my skin. I’ll deal with it if I have to but I way prefer to just throw on a thin hoodie. And I don’t really go outside often lol
I do use some face sunscreen that’s from Japan that’s lighter on the skin if I am gonna be out for awhile
lmao if im in direct sunlight for 10 minutes i vaporize into a mist and have to reform my lifeless corpse in a coffin buried in czech dirt
It's Man City at least, a team whose fans are generally boujie gammons
