They're expensive, but it's four for $30, which means you're buying cookies at $7.50 per. Prices only go down from there with larger amounts, where the pack of twelve is actually more expensive per than the pack of eight, but you get free shipping on the former. Imagine being such a brain genius that you actually forked over 20 dollarydoos for a fucking choco-chip cookie instead of saying no.

The world's most terrifying girlscout can smell fear and weakness and keeps coming back to this man every month to sell him a single cookie. He hasn't realized yet that what he should fear is not when the cookie costs $20, or $30, or even $100, but when she decides that the price of the cookie will no longer be measured in dollars. He will still buy the cookie.

I'm going to use capitalist logic here. Hey CHUD, wanna know why that cookie costs so much? You're still buying it! To a capitalist, everything is worth what people are willing to pay for. It's why Ray-Ban went from a regular ass sunglasses brand to a luxury brand: people are willing to pay that much for it, just like how you're willing to pay 18 bucks for a cookie.
