Insert Matt's rant here about the bargain of neoliberalism being that you don't have to make collective sacrifices or care about what's going on in the world, and how the Ukraine war undermines it

On a fundamental level, I can understand sacrificing your treats and even basic needs to help those in worse conditions. After all, the concept of internationalism is that we’re all in this struggle together

However, not only will this sacrifice bring the near collapse of an entire country, but the same country has no problem enjoying their luxuries on the backs of non white victims of war and exploitation. Not to mention, this cause is seriously fucked up because they refuse to acknowledge the corruption, the nazism, and the unchallenged policies to send everything to another country. The west is full of nationalists but they can’t even take care of their own first.

Remember when we beat the Nazis?

no, the soviets did that, after years of brits appeasing them and hoping to use them as a genocidal cudgel against the USSR :)

Brits and Americans simply took credit for what soviets did and immediately began the process of rehabilitating West Germany and integrating "former" nazis into prominent positions in NATO, the EU, various national intelligence agencies, the IMF, the world bank, and the UN.

The term "ex-nazi" is widely misused. Sure, people like Oskar Schindler who realised the errors of their way and did their best to stop Nazism are deserving of the term but Nazis who saw they had lost the war and realised that wearing a swastika armband would be bad for their careers were still as Nazi as before, they were just less in your face about it.

“While people are paying energy bills, people in Ukraine are paying with blood."

He's not wrong about that. What he's wrong about is the implication that paying more for energy will mean less blood. It's the other way round, the more blood Johnson and his likes makes Ukrainians pay with, the higher prices their populations will endure.

Yeah, I found the original image this is photoshopped over. It's stupid because they could do this IRL and it'd make the exact same point and probably work better because it's both real and more normies would see it rather than it get filtered through online stuff.

I mean theyd just kill him

They'd hardly have to kill him. The New Labour delegates would spend six months undermining Corbyn's legislative agenda and blocking all his cabinet picks, then announce he'd caused whatever latest horror befell the UK and joined the Tories in a vote of no confidence. Media would be in full melt-down mode from the day of the election to the day he was removed from office, at which point his replacement would be hailed as the second coming.

But its something of a moot point, since they got to do all this before election day and they still blame Long Corbyn for every stumbling failure of the Labour opposition. Far from killing him, they could just do Normal Politics and achieve what guys like Manchin and Pelosi and The Parliamentarian have done under Biden.

Jonestown was forced to commit mass suicide you know. It was either that or the military would come knocking down there. It was an actual tragedy unlike Waco

They know the UK is on the verge of collapse, so they're trying to make the people think that it's happening for what they think is a good cause?
