The artist has an Instagram and I am 99% sure they are a fascist.
So yeah, the post is complete and total bullshit. It's literally some fascist statue that was shoved next to a soviet war memorial and subsequently removed 10 fucking years ago.

r/neoliberal stop rehabilitating fascists challenge (Impossible)
I have recently been wondering whether /r/neoliberal is actually an extremely successful crypto-fascist op. Maybe not all founding members, or maybe not even at inception, but I'm quite certain parts of the team are fascists.
Think of it this way. Look at how many socialist subs had modteams that radicalised into MLs. Now consider the same effect but on neoliberal modteams radicalising into fascists.
If it happens in the left it also likely happens in the right.

PPI has been around since 1989 and views itself as Bill Clinton's "idea mill" aka think tank. Why I call them a fossil fuel think tank is detailed here. They oppose climate action, defend fracking, and receive donations from Exxon Mobil.
it's safe to say that their upvotes are farmed, and their organic support is mostly bourgeois economics and political science majors and interns who hope to work for PPI or a similar think tank one day. It's basically a Neera Tanden farm.
The creator of r/neoliberal, Colin Mortimer, is the Director of the Center for New Liberalism at PPI, which seeks to "develop a salient identity around the center-left values that have increasingly come under fire in this age of populism."
No matter what the Red Army was the only one where r*pists were fucking shot if they were found out. I'm very curious to see how many r#pes the burgers commited in the UK, France and Germany and got away with. :thonk:

That's the tragically hilarious part: the popular image of commissars shooting their own men that is very prevalent in western media actually came from Soviet commissars executing SA offenders on the spot in Germany during the final stages of the war.
Tragic because they turned an unambiguous act of heroism and righteousness into popular image of brutality, hilarious because it's another example of how horrifically fucked up the west is and how they kept getting away with it :agony-deep:

When burgers place troops abroad they make sure they are exempt from local laws. Just a few days ago a burger troop ran down a civilian in Italy and the only hope for justice is that the burgers themselves decide to prosecute their own troop back home in Burgerland.

As predicted for the comments, second-hand Nazi apologia (ie implying Eastern Europe was doing just fine under Nazi occupation before the Soviets raped/murdered/starved them). All by supposed “Eastern Europeans” who seem to have anecdotes that line up perfectly with German accounts of the war.
This is vile, no doubt, but it’s also a sign that there’s a reason the powers that be have no choice but to relentlessly lie and lie. It’s grim but I have faith in this dark part of history.

The vast majority of Ukrainians who fought in WWII did so as part of the Red Army. The traitorous Nazi collaborators who fought with Bandera were always a tiny, nasty minority. No amount of NATO propaganda can change that fact.
Yep, to this day the Banderites extreme minority are concentrated in West Ukraine near their base of support in Lviv. It was the regions in the West who voted heavily against Zelensky and the Donbass separatist regions who voted heavily for Zelensky. The CIA/NED have always funded, armed, and trained right wing Banderite groups to destabilize Ukraine, both before and after the collapse of the USSR.. The Banderites heavily favored the US-backed leadership that emerged from Euromaidan: Poroshenko, and Yatsenyuk. But they learned to work with Zelensky after he got elected. The civil war is not only the result of US meddling, so is the failure of Minsk II and the push for Ukrainian NATO membership. The US hoped to leverage Ukraine as a place to station missiles 30 minutes from Moscow.
