one of the first things I saw Fraser in after his time away was this miniseries remake of the 70s Robert Redford flick Three Days of the Condor. the remake was just called Condor and I couldn't find it on any of the streaming services, so I had to head for the high seas. I think it was made in Ireland, though taking place entirely in the US. season 1 gave me "no wonder I can't find this in the states", because it's deeply critical of the CIA... not unlike the o.g. movie, but definitely updated.

anyway Fraser plays a contemptible asshole enmeshed in a completely corrupt conspiracy and I remember being pretty blown away by him.

just watched the pilot episode and damn this is pretty good

false-flag bio-terrorism might be too real post COVID with the Ft DeTrick lab leak theories floating around

yeah, i loved S1. i define a good political/spy thriller as one where, when i am watching it, i have to periodically remind myself to unclench my jaw take a deep, cleansing breath lol. i gotta hand it to the makers of that show... they made the baddies terrifying. you're making me want to watch it again with post-covid eyes.

It's up on Prime and Epix in the US if anyone is looking for it, just a heads up.
