can't wait to hear about how Israel has a right to respond to Iran's unprovoked aggression

I hate that you're right. There will be one news segment where someone mentions "you know, Israel did bomb their embassy a week back" and they'll be called a terrorist sympathizer and blacklisted from media

Given that we’ve now born witness to six months of Israel exterminating children (on top of the decades of extermination before that), one has to wonder how much anyone is going to believe this. And yet…

Attacking an embassy is considered an act of war by International law so Iran is fully within their right to attack Israel if they feel like it

Do you know if international law permits declaration of war to stop a genocide? Does the UN have to approve South Africa’s statement for that law to apply?

that would fall on Intervention which is considered illegal in most cases unless its by invitation, request or Humanitarian intervention which i think it falls on since is

the use or threat of military force by a state (or states) across borders with the intent of ending severe and widespread human rights violations in a state which has not given permission for the use of force.

you would need the UN via the ICJ would have to approve South Africa's case of Genocide in order to have an authorized intervension but other countries have use the HI without the support of the UN Security council like during the NATO intervention in Kosovo

Is this another “Russia is about to attack Ukraine” situation? The CIA wins either way. If Iran “attacks,” then people think that the CIA was right. If Iran refrains, then it’s obviously because they’re terrified of Israel.

Liberals took the opposite lesson from Russia actually invading than they should have.

They never paid attention (and still don't) to what the state dept was reporting for years... forever really... about X is about to attack Y! And it never happened basically all of the times. The correct way to approach media reports, state department memos/"leaks", etc. is/was to ignore what they say for the most part and look at what they're doing if you can especially in the form of evidence being released.

With Russia the state department had reported for years about the imminent invasion which never came. Zelenskyy himself was saying there nothing to be concerned with, something the libs conveniently never speak about. Was Zelenskyy lying or simply out of the loop? I'd guess the latter. No one was saying Putin intended to invade except for the US. Logically, based on the past at that time, one would go "the country which will be invaded is saying nothing is happening. The country which will invade is saying it's just doing exercises, something they've done for years and nothing happened. No one except sources at the state department are insisting Putin will invade this time. Gun to your head forced to choose, logic and history says the answer is no invasion."

Well, he did invade. Wow! The one time in like a fucking 8 year period that state department/media called it correctly. That means you just throw away memories of.... every time they lie, the like fucking 98% of the time, you forget logic, you just embrace US intelligence as perfect and always truth bearing! They would never lie! They have never lied!

This is the logic of someone who thinks geopolitics or foreign policy from the US' perspective is a "game" to bet on, speculate about, choose sides based on black and white caveman style "ugh ugh Russia man orc! Orc bad!" thinking. It's the absence of thinking and logic. It's full faith in a system which has demonstrably lied to the world and to Americans whom it "serves" for decades, basically a century now we can just round that number.

So liberals were busy for two years now taking a "victory lap" when they never applied logic, know nothing of Russia or Ukrainian history, know nothing of American and western ally history, just heard some state person or media parrot say orc man was gonna invade, it actually happened, and theywere right!

"WOOOOO I WON HOLY FUCKING SHIT ' MURICA BABY WOOOOOOO... oh there's a war now? Dang. But at least I was right!!! Wooooooo suck it leftists!!!!"

That's the average liberal "engaged" in politics (watching every second of Trump in his billion court cases is their engagement) for two years now.

I don't really know how to engage with actual people (fuck the online ones, nothing can be done there) If they believe Russia invaded Ukraine because they're bad people and Ukraine are good so we, also good people, give them weapons to kill the bad orcs. Like we're fucking Gandalf sending in eagles to kill the orcs. That sounds ridiculous, but it's effectively their thought process for as much as they even think about things at all.

So I don't know what Iran will do. Logic says "not invade" because that's just the way things go. If the US would stay the fuck out of it, I'd actually welcome Iran to do exactly that and squash the IOF. Make the IOF the IDF, if you know what I mean. Make those genocidal freaks pay a heavy cost. Unfortunately though, the US and EU for that matter aren't gonna just sit there and watch Israel crumble (not yet anyway. One day, inshallah). So Iranian direct involvement would likely result in US direct involvement... something I don't want. Something no one wants, I don't think. Well, certain psychos in and around DC not included.

      Tldr: fuck liberals

I personally think the consequences would be too great, but I thought that about Ukraine as well.
