The DSA international committee is actually pretty based tbh, definitely different from what most people expect it to be when considering a lot of the rest of DSA

DSA IC knows that westoids aren't the center of the universe and that in order to win solidarity with not just your movements, but also inspire others to help you or do the same in their home countries, you can't be a chauvinist and try to tsk tsk someone from the global south when they prioritize food and energy more than cracker infighting

Yes, that’s why I love working with the IC. As much as people here shit on DSA as an org, there are actually a lot of great opportunities for building solidarity and organizing that can be found. You don’t have to do what you consider to be “too lib” or whatever, there are lots of places to be a good communist within DSA

Perfectly put. I was expecting them to meekly retract or walk back their truthful statements on NATO and its culpability in the Ukraine conflict, when they got all that pushback from UA-flagged libs and social chauvinists. But no, they stood by what they said.

DSA international committee, lots of cool opportunities. IIRC they met with Maduro before as well. Also please do join, the more principled communists we have helping steer the committee the better

If you're already a DSA member, you just apply for it. There's a form on their website.
