I wish there were more beautiful boys in games 😔

The default male protagonist is always that masculine look. I want a twink protagonist. I want a femboy.

True, but it's a gacha game.

I tried running a server emulator for it, but I couldn't get logged in.

Also voiced by Charles Martinet, apparently mario-finger

I recently became aware of this game and found the protagonist being a Raiden look-a-like interesting. I feel like just one generation later the devs would have been pressured to make him more generically rugged to make him appeal to the Western market, though to be honest, nobody would have made an oddball big budget adventure game like this on the PS3 anyway (aside from David Cage)

You should, but the hexbear mods are picky about what constitutes a valid opinion. I made a comment in another thread about not enjoying the new trend of baggy pants on women, got banned from the thread lol.

Lucky they agreed with you on this one

Im kinda surprised they aren't site banned from the 'bear, they have real firm transphobic beliefs. Chapotraphouse just banned em at least, after i dug up an old comment while looking thru their history. It's gone now but it essentially said "pronouns are actually divisive and clique-y. Also equality means hiding your gender and blending in because the true nature of equality is closeted non-binaries".

                They truly suck.

The thread was about how idiots like you are judging real life actresses based on your stupid preconceptions of what is hot based on a video game.

It wasn't the actress, it was the pants, and them not being flattering.

The Twitter user nor the post mentioned anything about the actress. Did you see the picture in the post? Or are you just inserting preconceived biases here

You have to admit though, the new style of women's baggy pants isn't very flattering

You're totally right. She just picked the first makeup kit for her face that she could find, not the best one out there

The idea that nobody here asked for or wanted to see your opinions on how women should dress or look to personally get you off is just inconceivable to you isn't it?

Japanese games make male characters too pretty, western games make female characters too ugly, I think I just am a fundamentally unhappy person who is compelled to complain about shit

I think that’s a pretty interesting point that’s never brought up in Gamer Discourse. They complain how western game studios make women fat and ugly and angry while Japanese games game women feminine and busty and attractive and gushing with joy.

But they never talk about how western game studios make every male character gruff, masculine, angry, and muscular while Japanese games generally have them be twinks or just “anime guy” with some VA who’s emulating a high school boy’s voice.

Edit: re-read your comment and realized you basically said what I said with fewer words. I thought you said something else and I tried to expand on it lol

Why do they talk about what women are attracted to as if they don’t hate them for not being attracted to them for not being 12/10 models?

ngl it is pretty fucked up that even after 13 years of modding ecosystem development it is still extremely difficult (unless you replace the head mesh entirely) to make pretty boy characters and custom NPCs in Skyrim

I just realized I make all my characters look freakish and generally unpleasant to look at, especially in online games.

like beady-rat eyes, busted skin, cro-mag brow. in ark I made the eyes tiny and as wide set as possible. short and squat, paunchy, neckless.

it's always some combination of like derelict missing link meets yikes.

the payoff is like cut scenes and shit, because there's a generally a subtle implication in those scenes that the player character is sexy/attractive/desirable and it clashes hard with my bipedal disaster to add unintentional amusement.

Same. If a a game gives me a slider to adjust any part of my character's appearance I will treat it like an on/off button. It will end up all the way to the left or all the way to the right.

Lower jaw forward/back is not a spectrum. It is a binary.

I love it when men tell women what women find attractive/s

Do these guys know why boy bands and bishonen are popular?

HAVE THEY NOT SEEN HOW GIRLS REACT TO LINK?!?

Personally I'm not into meatheads or twinks. I like somewhere inbetween. Even then looks aren't really a priority for me, if a dude genuine and shares my beliefs that's the most important thing for me.
