Probably would have been bad for the player's perspective to have a giant level with doors twice as big as they normally are. Would have probably been jarring and confusing unless the gimmick of the level was feeling tiny. First person games already have to do tricks to be visually understood by the player.
They could just shrink her as she goes through the door. Just like 5% and have her hat clip through the door frame a little. It'd take some work to do and not have it be noticeable but most games and dumber fixes
Why is she shorter? She's a monster vampire, right? Is it convenient for an animator or something?
The model was literally too tall to fit through doors without forcing a camera shift
Since they didn't want to do that, they just made her a head and half shorter
