Why is she shorter? She's a monster vampire, right? Is it convenient for an animator or something?
The model was literally too tall to fit through doors without forcing a camera shift
Since they didn't want to do that, they just made her a head and half shorter
Why the fuck wouldn't she just have bigger doors in her own damn castle
Probably would have been bad for the player's perspective to have a giant level with doors twice as big as they normally are. Would have probably been jarring and confusing unless the gimmick of the level was feeling tiny. First person games already have to do tricks to be visually understood by the player.
(I've never played the game but) Was the castle built for her? Or did she just move into an abandoned castle maybe?
They could just shrink her as she goes through the door. Just like 5% and have her hat clip through the door frame a little. It'd take some work to do and not have it be noticeable but most games and dumber fixes
Alright capcom you've done alot of shady shit but this the most unforgivable act yet.
Was this game good? I really couldn't get into it like I did with RE7. I also think the comparisons to RE4 sort of set me up for disappointment. Should I give it another shot seeing as how it's the spooky month?
I wasn't really a fan of it or RE7, but the RE2 and 3 remakes were my jam. I think first person horror doesn't feel right for RE, but maybe that's just me being old.
The game is pretty alright. I enjoyed it. It's about the same quality as any of the other RE games for me.
She's playable in multiplayer, I doubt she'll be playable in the campaign DLC
