    Saying "A plant based future won't have disabled people in it" is a massive exaggeration, but yes there do exist people with specific dietary needs and nutrient deficiencies for which "just supplement bro" is not a realistic solution. That said, I do support the vegan movement. My problem with the privileged protestors dumping milk in this video is that they can afford to do so. It would have been better for them to just steal a shit ton of milk and give it all to a homeless shelter rather than wasting the resource. That way they steal the profits from the dairy industry and also help people in need. Tipping it out onto the floor for some minimum wage janitor to clean up is fucking stupid.

      at worst maybe we don't have the right form of supplement YET but you don't need magical food essence to absorb stuff

        Supplements may not be as bioavailable as food forms. For example, some people have trouble absorbing iron even from organic chelated iron supplements, but much more readily absorb iron from liver.
