Don’t know if Biden needs to pay for his own lawyer when there are supposed leftists defending him for free.

Biden, Churchill, Hitler, Thatcher, Clinton, and Satan all belong in the same quadrant but Dems don't like that.

Can Biden cancel all debt under authority he already legally holds? No, that would cause too much cognitive dissonance for me so it must not be true.

"We did it Reddit! we saved those poor debt speculators!"

Also, jokes on you. I solely voted Biden to piss off normies, I couldn't give a flying fuck what else he does.

Call me a liberal, but I think it's great that some student loan debt will be forgiven

I think that's likely, but I'm not counting out Brandon yet. He'll find some way to fail to deliver, I'm sure of it.

it will, but it wouldn't if this administration had a spine and principles. the executive absolutely has the authority to do this but they're gonna let their nuts get stomped on cuz biden's a loser who hates us.

How do they prevent the lawsuit from going through the courts? I agree they can fight by just delaying payment indefinitely if the loan forgiveness is struck down in courts

press the button. who holds the debt? the federal government. who can expunge the debt? the federal government. that easy. fuck the courts.

if i'm wrong by all means tell me, but it won't quench my hatred.

Cancel all the debt, effective immediately, and dare republicans to try and reimpose it, thereby pissing off people.

That's basically what he did. The executive order is him telling the department of education to forgive the student debt.

      Absolutely.

The issue I have now is people uncritically taking the Democrats’ “we are smol bean party who want to give you everything under the sky but meanie GOP won’t let us” rhetoric completely at face value. As if the last two years of nothing fundamentally changing aren’t there to look at. Biden managing to push this out of everything else through doesn’t change that much.

Two things can be true at once. The GOP can be obstructive toward anything positive happening whatsoever and the Dems can be limp-wristed, bad faith snakes who look for any excuse to water down their promises.

Cuomo systematically doing everything in the week before he got removed that dems claimed couldn’t happen in the state they controlled for decades is the best proof of this.

How would you have done this differently in order to prevent ghouls from trying to get the courts to strike it down? It seems inevitable.

I’m genuinely curious what happens now that Gen Z is the largest voting block the dems have. Like I know nothing fundamentally different but I’m curious is the rhetoric changes.
