      It's the only horseshoe theory I'll actually acknowledge: the further you get towards either end of the political spectrum the more open you are about the necessity of power and even violence to enforce a political agenda.

      Of course the difference is we're trying to use that power to uplift everyone and the reactionaries are trying to use it to murder anyone they deem impure

          I think Disco Elysium portrayed the "neutral/civil" mentality of liberals beautifully and succinctly in this one line describing the MoralIntern:

          After the commies and the fascas tag teamed Revachol, foreign nations with moderately deadly artillery came and leveled the city, put all the commies against a neutral wall and turned Revachol into a debt colony / financial buffer zone / whatever the hell they want it to be.

      I forgot about that part. Can you really call it speech? If I wanted to impress a lover I would wear something as thin and revealing as the words they speak.
