One of my new favorite things is chud :cope: whenever they find out that the left is pro gun. They immediately devolve into blubbering babies and start doing olympic tier mental gymnastics

It's funny to see them act like Libs and cover up their insecurities with smug gotcha-ism, all while displaying their stunted understanding of politics beyond culture war drivel :expert-shapiro:

The left hates guns except for them.

Why do conservatives say this as if it's supposed to be a gotcha? Yes, we want things only for people like us and even those who aren't but ultimately leave others alone. It's not that hard. That's a desire for just about any ideology lol.

It's the only horseshoe theory I'll actually acknowledge: the further you get towards either end of the political spectrum the more open you are about the necessity of power and even violence to enforce a political agenda.

Of course the difference is we're trying to use that power to uplift everyone and the reactionaries are trying to use it to murder anyone they deem impure

libs still believe in the necessity of power and even violence too they just play mental gymnastic mind games to justify it as civil bc its sanctioned by the state.

I think Disco Elysium portrayed the "neutral/civil" mentality of liberals beautifully and succinctly in this one line describing the MoralIntern:

After the commies and the fascas tag teamed Revachol, foreign nations with moderately deadly artillery came and leveled the city, put all the commies against a neutral wall and turned Revachol into a debt colony / financial buffer zone / whatever the hell they want it to be.

          dishonest in speech

I forgot about that part. Can you really call it speech? If I wanted to impress a lover I would wear something as thin and revealing as the words they speak.

Because liberals actually don't go by that rule, liberals always make sure the fash are eating good. Seeing the left not play by that rule fries their brains.

Yeah like if you don't agree with it, then don't sign your kid up? Unless I missed something and Antifa is rounding good Christian children up at gunpoint for these events.

They don't like that they don't have cultural hegemony anymore. They could just not sign their kid up but most parents are either in favor of it or apathetic.

It's a moral panic. They almost never have any basis in reality. They're just thin excuses to hunt down and murder unwanted minorities.

The original post is full of right wingers criticizing them for using the wrong brands of gear, I wonder if they're just nitpicking out of fear. I feel like when the next one of these freaks who tries to commit a massacre is bleeding out on the pavement their last thoughts will be something like "oh god i should have just gone to golden corral with meemaw" and not "Erm... those GLOVES aren't the right brand >:)"

      Consumerism. Not even once.

I wonder if they’re just nitpicking out of fear

They're nitpicking because this is the real unlimited power of internet activism.

We've already seen how toothless they are with January 6th and even the Truckers movement. They fold as soon as the nearest Wal-Mart can't supply them with treats and cheap food. They're only dangerous when there's eight of them ganging up on two women with police at their back. So heavily armed and yet a Mexican cartel would take them out with half their numbers.

There's a weird disconnect with libertarians who are just naive dipshits but are relatively well-meaning and serious about their ideology (ie, those who came out against this), versus those who are fascists who haven't come out of their cocoons.

Everything surrounding these recent events are filling me with so much despair, I even came back here. Not that there is anything wrong with this community of course, I love every single one of you fucks here ♥

I kinda went inactive once I started to organise with a local communist youth group, got into the proper communist party. It was exhausting of fighting the fight for LGBTQ+ rights in there. Not against malice, just ignorance. But fighting this fight for recognition, while my community is fighting for basic survival, get slaughtered in their spaces... I can't. I guess I just came here to vent, and tell all of you are beautiful comrades ♥
