      Post-soviet Russia is a neoliberal hellhole that has gutted and sold everything the workers of the USSR built up. It is in no way better than western puppet states like Poland or Ukraine. Its only use is as an opponent to US expansionism, which i view in a "let them fight" way, hoping that the USA/EU and Russia bleed each other dry so that rising countries from the global south like the PRC can take over.
