because redditors aren't real. it's literally just bots repeating bourgeois opinions and people who might as well be bots repeating what bots say because the bot opinon appeared superficially popular due to bot consensus.
I love how the only fact is downvoted lmao typical :reddit-logo:
Thread: Educate yourself about this horrible fascist atrocity.
Comments: "Anne Frankly, I did Nazi that coming!"
Redditors to the pit :pit:
Reddit's upvote system encourages people to make the same jokes forever, because if zadtheinhaler didn't say "you have been banned from /r/Pyongyang" the moment they saw a Korea joke, someone else would've commented it and got the 300 upvotes
Kinda creepy tho, the joke got old during the Obama administration and reddit hasn't evolved in the slightest
It's the cloying self-conscious soy aesthetic wrapping the hideous reaction that I can't stand. Like if it were just another reactionary shithole, yeah it'd be unpleasant to read posts there but unmemorable. But it's the ubiquitous persona these guys adopt of "heh heh, I'm just a cutesy funny clever little guy who knows a thing or two about this here interneterino" while also being a bad day away from advocating race science and global apartheid that makes me wanna vomit.
That's a good thing. To understand it would require getting too close to the :so-true: mind and mentality. Remain pure of such wickedness, comrade.
Headline from the near future: "AI chatterbots pass rate of Turing test exceeds 99%"
General population: "Wow, I never thought I'd live to see them develop an AI so incredibly sophisticated"
AI programmers: :side-eye-1: :side-eye-2:
Because they're the NPC's they accuse everyone else of being. Always online, regurgitating the same jokes and memes, and pushing back against anything that challenges their narrative.
I only visit Reddit nowadays for r/TheDeprogram. Once that inevitably gets banned there won't be any reason to stay.
