    Brita Filter

Drag queens really do think of some brilliant names. Like "Degrassi Knoll", that was mentioned in another post.

Authoritarian compassion sounds pretty based to me

Also, Peterson claims to be a Christian. "Be nice, or else Hell" is basically the doctrine of that whole religion, I do wonder how one would consider that any different from Authoritarian Compassion.

Jordan Peterson needs to have his speech permanently taken away

A while ago someone in /r/sino said something like "Westerners get unnecessarily nervous when they hear the word 'authoritarian' because they cannot imagine authority being wielded by the people" and I think about that a lot.

Westerners almost literally cannot fathom a government that helps the people, even libs

Just like they can't imagine a large work being done with public funds without sponsorship or for profit.

Sorry sweaty doing what the people want is populism. Enacting unpopular policies thought up by unelected technocrats is free democracy

Liberals worship people, not ideas. So their opinions are worth a damn, to their slavering followers.

I'd take authoritarian compassion over our current authoritarian sociopathy in an instant

there was a prominent philospher in the early labour party who reasoned that freedom was measured in whether or not you were punished for doing the right thing so true freedom was a system that allowed you to look after other people and be kind. Unlike capitalism where such behavior is punished

I don't think they really thought this through because religion is somewhat famous for it's stance on mandatory compassion and is quite comfortable with the idea of authoritarian telling people what to do
