Me: actually, morning showers are based and cleanlinesspilled, not to mention schedulecore. Sounds like you're the real soyjak here! :very-smart:

Morning showers are bourgeois because only people who don't come home from work sweaty, sore, tired, and possibly covered in foreign substances can afford to wait until morning to shower, therefor they are bourgeois.

Even managers don't own the means of production - and defining the level of management where the threshold from worker to bourgeoisie is tenuous, in my opinion. I do believe that the strata of PMC is something, that higher paid management are demotivated from being revolutionary by higher pay, but that unless one owns the means, and actually has a say in the wages of workers and a share of profits, they are still part of the proletariat.

Do not underestimate my power to have two showers in one day.

this is where i must point out that only 12% of emissions in the EU are from residential buildings and almost all of those emissions are from electrical plants not using sustainable forms of energy. doesnt help that there are so many studies out there that purposefully obfuscate the prole's energy needs to make it seem like its much larger or equitable to industrial and capitalist needs by separating the graphs and categories rather than simply comparing it all in the same dataset.

Yes I don't think we should get rid of showers. The author writes about some fascinating (low) technologies but ultimately rejects modern civilization and is extremely idealistic (see their article about how modern militaries should use bows and arrows cause it's more environmental... What?).

Yeah, I would like to know what a good, fresh smelling soap would be. I've always used shitty Irish spring soap, but want to get into nice bar soaps instead. Not floral, I don't like that small much, but like, citrus, or pine, or seaweed, or whatever else would be cool. Where should I look?

If you wanna get REAL fancy, this bar is really big too: https://fultonandroark.com/products/bar-soap

There's one place I've bought goats milk soap from before that I really like, but it's been a while and I need to figure out what the name of it was.

My wife has "hair days" where she washes her hair specifically and "non-hair days" where she just puts on a shower cap.

I take 3 a day sometimes when I am very anxious. I'm ND and it calms me down and prevents me from having panic attacks
