Going to say the same thing I said on the discord: This is an actual quote from the episode (ep 14, 11:12)

    In Japanese, Akko says: 「ブルジョワに労働者の気持ちがわかるか」

Literally, "Does the bourgeoisie understand the labourer's feelings?"

The quote is slightly editorialised, to make it flow better, but the meaning, and the use of the word bourgeoisie, is in the Japanese.

edit: changed can to does, because wakaru is not potential form

What anime is this? I though almost all of them were basically fashy trash.

This is from Little Witch Academia by Studio Trigger. Trigger are a fairly based studio that put revolution and themes like this into many of their shows.

I would say very little anime is fashy trash, most of it is harmless, the fashy trash is however very popular.

oh shit, I'm going to have to check that show out. I didn't realize trigger made it and it sounded interesting before I knew that.

Very good. The original 30 minute pilot experiment for Little Witch Academia was so good. It did such a good job telling a whole story in such a short amount of time, I was totally blown away by it.
