wasnt there a whole exposee about how they literally falsified a large chunk of their reporting on the alleged SA cases?

Yep. Basically they published lies as facts without checking the source that probably directly led to Israeli war crimes. Total negligence and journalism malpractice.

Don't forget that when NYT staff made criticisms and leaked details of the company's campaign to cover up these facts the NYT reacted by racially profiling and investigating first Muslim and then non-white staffers. They never found the source of the leaks despite this. who-did-this

And another one about how they were using language to paint Palestinians as bad/the terrorists at all times?

    Important note:

The award ceremony was held, as usual, at Columbia University where they have banned all reporters and had LAPD mass arrest press, legal observers, and local political candidates in the early hours of the morning.

The only 'journalists' on site were those there to receive awards for proven lies and pro-genocide propaganda.

It's fun having such a clear cut example of the Pulitzer prize literally just being an award for best propaganda. Not even trying to hide it jokerfied

Poynter is some bullshit as well. It’s one big circle-jerk, and you ain’t in it.

Are all awards just marketing for the status quo? Thinking of the Nobel "Peace" prize going to presidents who oversaw bombing campaigns and wars, Grammys going exclusively to artists that sell well, etc.
