Why wouldn't it hold its head closer to the ground lmao
Weren't they herbivores too? What's bones doing in there :thonk:
Maybe it's puke hit a raptor with so much force it died
Yeah pretty much every herbivore will eat some meat given the chance, meat’s high energy and easy to digest
these terms generally mean main food source, and just imply what they generally are better at digesting like, a horse can eat grass and digest it, so like a deer or a horse can eat meat it just could not live out of a meat diet as their bodies are more prepared for plant matter digestion, while ommnivores generally mean they could live just eating one of the two, like a bear, that would get a bit thinner with a only plant diet as there is less easy fat but would be alright if he can find enough of it
Brachiosaur vomit is so acidic that any unfortunate animal that is puked on is instantly dissolved.
Takes a lot of energy to heave 50kg of vomit up a neck that long
ok sure, but grossing out all the smaller animals with your huge vomit splash zone is a way to salvage some joy out of being a sick dinosaur
Was curious and apparently 3,300 newtons of force has a 25% chance of cracking an average person's rib, so with an estimated impact of 68,800 newtons this vomit can kill.
I feel like the act might well require making its neck closer to the ground. I guess it's got a pretty powerful neck, but I'm not sure how much the muscles it uses during normal neck operation play a role in vomiting.
I once had a roommate who loves to drink until he hurled, but was too grossed out by the toilet to hold his head down. That’s just a toilet near your face, these are dromaeosaurids.
