This seems like a stupid idea, unless it's about Spartacus because that would actually be pretty awesome

Like a sequel to the Russell Crow movie? Or just like...a movie about gladiators? A reboot is basically just another movie about gladiators, it's not based on an ip.

Wanna see a gladiator movie. But a realistic one where it is roman WWE. I wanna see the "Netter of young maidens in the night" fuck up a match because they sedated the tiger he was supposed to fight too much and accidentally really killed the expensive animal. So now he has to come up with a gimmick to please his patron and let him take the day off during Carne off to bang the rich nobleman he is into.

If you are talking about the 2000 film it made like 400 million dollars

My bad. I just really didn't enjoy it, saw that it was on Netflix, and just assumed that it didn't do well.

It did very well at the time. I remember it being okay. It was a late 90s movie.

Aparently the guy who played the gladiator was being an ass at a bar and got his ass kicked by one of the guys from gaelic storm. They nade a song about it.
