      when asked why they're more afraid of tiktok than the NSA/FBI/or even local cops, they say shit like "in the US, companies have the CHOICE to sell your data to the government. In China, they're forced to!"

      Funniest part about Reddit hating Tiktok is that most of their hate is probably more to do with that fact that it's mainstream and popular amongst social outgoing people than the fact that it's Chinese

      Obviously, by it's popularity and growth rate even in the US, even sinophobic non-redditors don't care
