What, can't they just make up some progressive mythology for her like they did for Biden when he was VP?

I still don't believe that bullshit about him convincing Obama to support gay marriage and I never will

She's a charisma vacuum. The democratic party was too busy rat fucking Bernie to consider that they may need to have people that can seem competent. They have no bench, and the fact that their even acting disappointed is just rich.

True but those same people voted for a senile old man, with credible rape accusations, and a habit of fondling women and girls in public, who their own POC girl boss candidate called a racist for his segregationist politics. They were never not going to vote democrat so I'm not sure it matters anyway.

The vast majority of democratic voters are voting because [x democrat] is not [x republican]. There is no other reason. If you ask what Biden or Kamala or Pete has done for them, they will answer you with a blank stare, and then vote anyway, because they can easily think of horrible things the republicans have done, and invent all kinds of excuses about harm reduction, despite the fact that we were not (really) in danger of going to nuclear war when trump was president, and the country is currently in far more of a rightwing mood than under trump because when he was in office, liberals needed to pretend that they cared about his shitty policies when all they really cared about was his impoliteness. Some liberals ended up taking to the streets to oppose those policies, though these liberals are silent now even as those policies continue and intensify under Biden. I’m not saying we should vote for republicans (because that is nazi shit), I just think I hate democrats more than most of hexbear, which already hates them quite passionately.

The problem is that the "atleast they aren't Republicans" line is true for a ton of people, atleast to some degree. That's the scary bit. Like you can say that Trump wouldn't have started a thermonuclear war, but I think that has more to do with Trump than Republicans. They oppose the war in Ukraine now, but I guarantee you the second their team was quarterbacking it they would go into full death cult mode. Hell last, what was it? Thursday? Trump declared his intention to comit genocide on stage to wild applause from his hogs. And this isn't counting the army of glassy eyed psychos who's whole life is the republican party and the most brutal forms of capitalism possible. Not saying that somehow the dems are heroes just that their pretensions of morality and the asthetics thereof often get in the way of them being as evil as they want to be.

Yeah but the people susceptible to top cop girl boss messaging are not on that list. Those people are voting democrat every year with no exceptions.

Is that what they claimed? Bullshit, poll numbers convinced the dems to "flip" on gay marriage and in the end they never actually did anything about it.
