Not just spying, but flying into US airspace and pointing listening devices at government facilities and military bases

The sneaky Chineses are listening to our troops with microphones at twice the cruising altitude of a commercial jet. I'm literally screaming and crying under my bed right now.

Pretty sure you can get closer than 60,000 feet to any military base by just driving up to it in a car. Weird how the Chinese can’t manage to get a single spy with a recording device to drive around the perimeter of a base, they have to do elaborate balloon hijinx

Imagine how many half-second snippets of conversations it could capture as it was carried by the wind at 46kph/29mph.

Biden would go down in history as the greatest gigachad of all time if he took a big ol' breath of helium from a balloon and said, "We do not fly balloons over China."

    :sus-torment:

I guarantee all these 'spy' balloons are simple weather balloons that both countries have allowed for decades.

I think it's just something that happens all the time because balloons just fucking drift, they're balloons, and the US just started throwing a temper tantrum about it to distract from real issues

Most Americans are functionally illetrate, constant propaganda, literal psyop bot armies, and children with their dopamanine receptors blasted out by rgb keyboard lights, and crippling alienation under capitlasim

It did take an entire weekend for anyone to notice that bit about multiple balloons during the Trump administration. Pretty much proving that no one reads past the headlines

Weren't the libs just braying about 4 balloons unreported during Trump's presidency but now China is making it up about their airspace?

Then why did they not contact the states about this earlier?

Because it's not a big deal and only became one once America went in a balloon popping frenzy!! :agony-shivering:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the reason China is only mentioning this now is to say "Your shit is in our airspace all the fucking time so STFU"

I saw this post earlier and wanted to die. I lost faith in humanity and dreamed of the nuclear annihilation of our species.

Family Guy is trash but at least is somewhat self aware of that and has some fun with itself.

South Park is just insufferable. I'm not sure how people can sit through an episode of what amounts to self-fellating "commentary" dressed up in low brow comedy.
