That George Bush can walk down any random street without being immediately beaten to death by the first person to recognize him is one of the most damning indictments of America. An unrepentant mass murderer with a bigger body count than anyone currently in an American prison.

All US presidents receive secret service protection for life, so yeah it'd take some doing to the-doohickey .

Ex presidents actually didn’t receive any SS protection until Obama signed it into law and retroactively gave every living ex president SS security. So without Obama, Bush very well could’ve been shot a while ago. Thanks Obama.

I thought I read that Richard Nixon turned down Secret Service protection after resigning, and he died over 10 years before Obama was president.

No you’re wrong if you make money off it then it’s completely ok but you have to be in the 7 digits+.

i figure that after the shoe nobody with a moral compass has been allowed within throwing distance of the man. when you're that rich you don't have to go to town for groceries or shit so i can't imagine why he'd ever be in an unsupervised public space

I remember a long time ago I saw a political cartoon where the first panel was a new report talking about George Bush painting his feet and the second panel was a US veteran whose legs were blown off

And it almost brings up a legit point, but in typical lib fashion it has to go all ARE TROOPS while ignoring the actual victims, by which I mean it would've been a good cartoon if instead of a troop it was an Iraqi teen in the second panel

Making paintings of people you sent to die pointlessly sure is a thing

EDIT: Removing the original text of my comment because I realize it was poor taste. It was intended to be a joke, but that’s probably not something I should joke about.

We make jokes about how people brush aside everything Bush did, so you're good. Just can't ever be too sure when I see someone from a different instance since some people really do unironically think that the war crimes that Bush committed are just merely something that can be brush aside as a difference of opinion.

One of the most shocking things is how Trump is likely the only few powerful people who acknowledge that over a million people died

He was giving a speech bragging about telling his pilot to land in Iraq despite the dangers, or something of that nature. He then says something like “Thousands - no, millions of deaths, if you count the millions of people who died in Iraq, which I do.”

I’ve never heard any other senator or president say such thing.
