      I like traditional for the aesthetic, like if you're gonna make old school signage or calligraphy, it just looks better. But for everyday reading and writing it's just so much more tedious. Simplifying the characters was the right decision when it comes to education and accessibility.

    Honestly I don't understand why politicians don't do this shit more often. Just delaying say, bombs for Israel or cutting medicaid for a day can save dozens of lives, and show your constituency you understand what these bills mean for real human beings.

    But no, every time it's for the worst possible, like promoting corruption or disenfranchizing serbs or something.

      That's because it's fun and whimsical when the worst people do it, so they are allowed to get away with shenanigans.

      If someone did this to delay bombs for Israel they'd be stopped by force.
