It’s April fools
Does anyone have any good pranks/jokes for me to post on hexbear dot net
"Write" an essay or longer document titled, Texting Too Long at Redlights as Praxis: a Materialist Analysis, and hide a disclaimer that it's an AI-generated goof in the middle of the second paragraph. Format as an effortpost so that people assume that's what they're looking at, but actually post it to /c/chapotraphouse
Don't forget the disclaimer! Imo it should pass a skim, but be easy to see once/if people start reading it in earnest
Off the top of my head the only April fools prank on the internet I can remember enjoying was when the staff of Deadspin and the staff of Jezebel traded places for the day. There were some surprisingly thoughtful articles on both sites, and also several that made me laugh. Mostly April fools sucks though, and pranks aren't funny, they're just mean. This includes when hexbear.net crashes at some point today and against my will, I am forced to break my oath to never :logout:
No no no, when the site logs you out, that's not your doing! It doesn't count unless you actively click on the :logout: button.
You haven't broken any oaths unless you also swore one not to ever log back in.
After I walked the corg, I went to give her a treat. Instead of throwing it the way I was facing, I let it fall behind me!
:bamboozled:
you don't give the treat to her right out of your hand? you just throw it on the floor ?
I alternate, she likes to try and catch them in the air.
Some dogs are not good at gently taking treats out of your hand.
I don't think I know of anyone that actually trains their dog beyond maybe getting them to sit for a treat.
Post a link with a description of something :awooga:, but it's actually:PIGPOOPBALLS:.
"Xi Jinping declares support for outdoor cats and eating bacon cheeseburgers is integral to Socialism with Chinese Characteristics"
Someone posted earlier telling me it was April 1 but I wasn't fooled
