At the 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Ford unveiled the F-100 Eluminator concept truck, an electromod restoration of a 1978 F-100 repowered with the electric vehicle drivetrain and front and rear suspension subframes taken from the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition.
But it would not exactly be reasonably priced...
Ford Performance engineer Brian Novak said that since the engineering drawings were finished, a second example could be built for "McLaren money, not Bugatti money", which Motor Trend estimated to be $500,000.
Look at the maverick. They're impossible to get - I think they would sell as many as they could make at least for the first few years
My grandfather took good care of his small to mid-size truck and after he died my grandmother was able to sell it for like 10k despite it being like 10 years old because you just can't get that type of truck these days.
How come? Is it because they were actually used as work vehicles and were beaten up more than a sedan from the same era?
they're new small pickups but there's huge wait lists for them (and they still have proportionally-huge crew cabs* compared to an old truck). idk why they're not producing more
e: why does a truck need FOUR DOORS. get a hatchback you cretins. grrr
That's not a truck. That's a SUV with the trunk on the outside.
It's seen as a family car so they need to make it huge to fit all the kids from soccer practice
:data-laughing:
they should bring back those automatic seatbelts they were funny
