Dude, I only did a black eagles playthrough, petra was an insanely strong fuckgod.
However, Edelgard is an absolute beast post-timeskip as well, holy shit she's so strong.
Edelgard is overpowered in almost every class besides the healing one

Edelgard is definitely my favorite Fire Emblem character/Lord, but not my favorite romantic option. My type is pegasus riders lol. Cordelia, Camilla, Hinoka, Petra, and Chloe.

TBH I only beat the campaign once (as Black eagles) and recruited Lysithea, Felix and Ignatz. I didn't even know there were soft-locks like that. I got distracted halfway through a second Golden Deer campaign.
