    photo of an empty fridge

It's like the nazi's version of "well at loist our skewls dun look loike call uv du'ee!" when their dogshit ideology is not treated like gospel for one salty second.

The bank of England told Britons they need to accept being poor and California "invested" itself into a fucking housing crisis.

The number of people who genuinely believe “lol if you’re so communist then why do you need food from other countries instead of doing everything yourself” is just mind boggling. These people will tell you to learn basic economics and think modern countries can be 100% self sufficient. Not even North Korea is

It's hilarious since they both claim that capitalism is when trade and commerce of any kind and then default to "not real capitalism" in the next breath.

Two of the reasons I commonly see is

        1. It’s Cuba’s fault for starving. The US doesn’t like to starve people, but they have no choice. Cuba could end sanctions any time by simply not being communist. It’s basically the reverse Ukraine justification
        2. Socialism doesn’t work because Cuba isn’t Juche and has to rely on global trade instead of growing an abundant of food in communes and insulin in their Beth tubs.

People literally don't think the sanctions are to blame despite there literally being memos from state department officials at the time the embargo began being like "yeah we're going to starve out cuba via sanctions to cause regime change" like they FUCKING SAY IT

Pretty much every brutal sanction has been accompanied by a memo saying “our exact goal is to starve the population into regime change.” It has worked before, but it also causes pushes dissidents into submission to the status quo because finding food and overthrowing the state can’t always be done simultaneously. Like look at Venezuela, even the right wing opposition has condemned the US for its sanctions

I think that ship has already sailed, given his reputation among unions.

It's more likely that he will be smeared by both "left" and right MSM outlets.

There was already a smear attempt using that fight he had with another organiser. I think they're lacking in ammunition otherwise it would already be happening.

It's easy to be a communist in a free country but..

Shut the fuck up shut the fuck up oh my god

Literally all you'd need to do under this trite talking point is post a picture of Joseph McCarthy.

I used to support your labor organization, but now it’s clear that you admire dictators and only care about totalitarian power. I will no longer support you or unions. I will back every effort by Amazon and the US government to fight against your tyranny because communism is never acceptable, and the workers must learn the hard way

I hate how western lib-chuds lives in a parallel reality in which the illegal and unprovoked US blockade of Cuba doesn't have any adverse effects on Cuban society. When Cuban hospitals lacks stuff is is because Cuba bad, not because a fascist superpower on its borders does all it can to prevent then from importing stuff.

Maybe this should be used to piss off the lib-chuds? If none of Cuba's shortcomings are due to the illegal and unprovoked US blockade then the blockade is actually not doing anything and it makes no sense wasting taxpayer money upholding it.
