I feel like it's very human to have the hots for the guy who's baby your carrying and who cares for you. This seems like a very shit situation to be in

Love Bashir who saved the baby by transporting it to Kira saying "I can't help but feel I'm to blame." For those who don't know Siddig got Visitor pregnant

You got us, nerds. We missed that this was from the plot of Deep Space Nine. But we stand by the advice to these fictional characters from 1996, wherever they are.

Yeah, this was totally not written by the author.

Most advice columnists write their own letters. Shocker, I know.

The story seems fake but this is as good a reason as any to talk about how surrogacy is a fucked up form of exploitation of poor women and how it shouldn't be encouraged. If you can't get pregnant you can adopt a child or just accept that you can live a happy and fulfilling life without children.

As anybody else here has mentioned, this is based on a DS9 episode. If you're using this piece, littered with spicy details that wouldn't apply to a normal surrogate pregnancy, as evidence why you can tell people who can't get pregnant how they should plan their families, congrats, you're on the same level as "but this made-up story could happen!" chuds.
