I remember some old farmer that told me you can get away with dumping old jugs of pesticides if you put them in black plastic bags. Nice one, dude! I will not be following that advice when I dispose of empty pesticide jugs. They have a hazardous material site at the dump for a reason.
Where I work we are rebuilding the topsoil and trying to be as sustainable as possible. But a lot of those old hokey farm dudes do some nefarious shit. Even if it's not intentional. They'll leave dead tractors out to rust and rot and leak oil and diesel into the ground. Monsanto execs should be tried for crimes against humanity.
