The weird combo of the left and foaming at the mouth conservatives was able to stop Obama&Biden from cutting Social Security, Medicare and a bunch of other stuff. I don't think that we can influence Biden in 2023 in any way. He will do whatever he wants to do.
We can't even meaningfully threaten to withhold our vote this time around. Then the Republicans win, and lord knows the Democrats want nothing in the world more.
Im not convinced that we even had that ability in the past since we didn't form a party outside of the dems so in a strange way I think we played our selves and gave people like sinema and coal boy all the power because they would defect to the Republicans while we could defect to no one. Which is disappointing because we did this mistake before and then we repeated it. Almost 100 years later with less political capital.
All that aside they might be doing this so the reps don't destroy the reserve currency status faster as the democrips are primarily fire sector losers as that is their captlist section of the ruling class. Soooooooo :dumpster-fire: all this is say the fincial sector people know they are gonna get deposed by some other power elite section chances are and to some extent they are trying to hold on longer.
