I might find myself visiting there soon

Kensington Market is still pretty fun, iirc. There’s a little jazz bar in Queen West called Poetry that I recommend. Queen West in general is a cool neighborhood. Stay out of the financial district, it’s extremely boring and lifeless.

Depends on what you like. Toronto is the size of Chicago, and like any large city there are both lots of things going on and lots of dead ends that will bore you.

Really depends on what you like doing. A lot of cool neighbourhoods like queen west, the junction, roncesvalles and tye danforth . There's the beaches and high park if you're looking for nature. Got some good museums and art galleries. And the gay village on church street has plenty of drag shows going on.

It's not a bad city, but I've visited it a few times and can't remember anything I found particularly cool. There's good food around I guess, but I remember it being expensive. There's not exactly a city center, unlike Chicago or Manhattan, it's kind of spread around some major streets. There is some cool architecture here and there. One time I saw some real cool ice sculptures, but that was in the winter.

Every time I visited was for structured events, so I didn't have a lot of time to explore on my own time and ended up being shepherded to restaurants and such that were kind of underwhelming, so that colors my experience for sure.

Toronto's ok, good food (especially chinese, middle Eastern, caribbean, African, Indian ----not mexican!!!) Lots of events, cool breweries. Kensington market is a really neat place and I think car free most Sundays or weekends?

Otherwise, wander around. Toronto is made up of lots of different neighbourhoods and they each have their own vibes. Stay away from the financial district. Visit the art gallery or a museum (aga khan is pretty good). Maybe high park?

I don't know. It's an ok place to live as there are lots of events, but hard to visit because it is kind of plain.
