True to his capitalist roots, wet boy 100% has someone else finding the memes he posts for him

Can we please stop pretending like he doesn’t

I mean likening desantis campaign start to a rocket unable to takeoff because it involved musk and twitter failing to host a stream is not exactly sharp, incisive commentary. it's only funny because trump is pretty blunt about mocking his political opponents

I mean yeah, but the point is that someone is making all the memes for him and he’s implicitly taking credit (a la musk)

No way in hell he made that deepfake with musk, desantis, soros and Cheney for example

There's no way he knows how to do the cyber but he still had to approve of what was posted in his name, so critical support I guess. :trump-feed:

I just realized there are three people in this image the thread title could be referring to.

That first one is an anti-Semitic slur and the other two are pretty ugly in that context

It's getting that reputation these days from a false etymology back to Shylock, but it likely just started out as "sheisser," German for "shitter."

yes, this was my understanding of it as well. Interesting article here: https://www.law.com/newyorklawjournal/almID/900005387204/

Yeah, I typically avoid using it just because the false etymology is so commonly believed. Kind of like how it's best to just not use the synonym for "miserly" that looks similar to the n-word, even though the two words aren't related at all. I sucks because that's not what either of the words actually mean, but language changes and perception changes with it. So here we are. I'll usually make a comment when someone says that either is a slur, but at the same time I avoid using them myself just to avoid giving offense. The centrist position, lol.

Gives us a chance to make up NEW terms for use, terms that will themselves certainly be questioned by future generations. The joy of language!! :)

oh wow... ok, maybe I will stay away from using them then, haha, I don't think I've ever intentionally made an anti-semetic slur before in my life, no need to break my perfect record.

Just wanted to chime in that it seems like every month I see someone in a comments section learn that a word is an antisemitic slur. There're so god damn many of them and they're so normalized it's wild - also applies to Roma.

I think I missed what happened/went wrong with the twitter spaces launch, can anyone fill me in? I did see the Trump campaign ad that dropped around the same time (the one with Cheney and Hitler and Satan).

DeSantis tried to declare he was running for President on Twitter Spaces and got ratio’d

The one good thing he's doing is freezing out the corporate media and going over their heads directly to the people with social media. That's what the announcement was doing. But Elon's Twitter couldn't take the load and broke down. Shouldn't have taken the wine machine out of the yoga room, Elon, now you aren't competitive for any competent SV talent.

elon stopped paying the sub-company that makes sure twitter spaces work, so their 'bandwith' is throttled so to speak. the entire thing barely worked, and ron's game was too terminally online for a campaign announcement.

Frequent technical issues during the stream and low viewership. For example the trump cnn thing got three or four times as many viewers or something

spaces was unable to support 200,000 simultaneous listeners and crapped itself. later musk claimed the volume was unprecedented, even though the bbc had hosted a stream with millions of viewers on twitter like literally a week before.
