      Boiling the bread changes the texture and makes it nice and chewy. If you don't care for the texture then idk what to tell you. Also everything bagels (poppyseed, sesame, caraway seed, dried onion/garlic) are the correct kind.

      Goes really well with cream cheese or salmon. Or just butter/margarine.

      Kaisersemmel fucking suck ass. I'll hand you Vollkorn and especially like a good rye bread, that shit's good, Kaisersemmels are the most milquetoast bullshit imaginable and the best of them loses to a vacuum packed toasted bagel you can get from a german supermarket

      Thick and chewey, boiled, none of the preservatives in grocery store bagels, with spread, pickled red onions and capers. I hear carnists like cream cheese and lox.
