but I know people tend to hate fake shit. (Just look at the fake meat industry. It’s not doing so well.)

Mmmhmm, just gotta get that dig in against vegans, classic stuff

I too am sick of the "vegan ____ is fake ____" line. It's like they're implying it's made out of packing peanuts and mysterious chemicals :ohnoes:

It isn't "fake meat" it's a real vegan burger.

This is exactly my feeling. why call this black bean burger a "Ultimate COW BEEF burger (no beef)" I just want a black bean burger.

Showing by pbc treatboy side but you remember the garden burgers BK used to have? I thought they were a lot better than the new impossible whoppers.

O don't remember specifically those but I'm not surprised. When a burger is advertised as like a black bean burger or garden burger I trust it wayyy more lol. There's black bean burgers I've had at restaurants I remember. I still want to go eat em. Can't recall any impossible style burgers I def want again.

It's virtue signaling for "neutral" and "nonpolitical" bazingas that claim to hate virtue signaling. :very-intelligent:

If you like seitan, tvp, related products, fine. Personally just give me the vegetables that have the protein, cooked and spiced but otherwise unprocessed, tastes like food, does not resemble rubber at all, yummy in my tummy
