No empire in the history of the world, not even the Nazis under Adolf Hitler, ever had dreams of killing 600 million people in one event. But yet this nuclear first strike doctrine remains the policy of the United States of Evil even today. How can anyone be anything but disgusted by this evil? This is the worst evil in the history of mankind.

Normal person: I think it would be good if everyone didn’t die in a nuclear holocaust.

Crazy person: That means you love Vladimir Putin.

NP: No I just think it would be a good idea to try to prevent the horrific death of literally everyone.

CP: How much is the Kremlin paying you to say that?

It just says so much about where we’re headed as a society that the most surefire way to enrage a liberal in 2023 is to say that reckless nuclear brinkmanship is probably a bad idea.

600 million at the outset. Then all the dead forests burn and blacken the sky. Crops die. Billions starve. The psychos that dreamed this stuff up are true embodiments of evil.

Hey hey hey. Billions may die. We're not sure about the specifics of nuclear winter, so surely nuclear war can't be that bad. very-intelligent

I would imagine any country which isn't kowtowing to the USA has some plan in place to stop a nuclear launch? If they do, I beg of you never tell us what the plan is. I don't want the world to burn...

Yes, the US is the only official nuclear weapon country to not sign on to the UN pledge to not use them as a first strike. Even China (4th with the bomb) wont' use them first. The US has no moral legitimacy on the world stage, to steal a concept that Bush liked to shove down our throats.
