Being a conservative is just 100% about media consumption now. Cool
Wasn't it always? I'm old enough to remember conservatives making video games and heavy metal their primary enemies.
I meant it’s all completely about the pundits and influencers that make up the right wing media eco system. Like their propaganda apparatus was an effective tool but now it’s consumed itself and now it’s the only thing that matters.
I'd say the actual control mechanism though are thousands or millions of scattered little petite bourgeois that consume their media ecosystem. Like car dealership owners, pool supply store owners, real estate managers. Middle aged racist grumpy white guys who are funneling their ill gained profits back into their Ben Shapiro propaganda machine, then in turn the machine feeds them little ideology candies. I guess as things get more tense the vast swaths of loosely organized middle strata conservative bourgeoisie need more coddling and propaganda to continue existing.
Thought he was just a poster.
How does that differ in day to day operations from
I wish I knew. McNaughton clearly understands the power of uploading a video.
I like how he refused to draw Tim Pool's famous beanie or put him in a suit/tie, so instead he's a disembodied head covered by Ben Shapino's arm
How does some talking head from the internet count as a important figure?
You know I'm kinda surprised conservatives haven't become split on which of the founding fathers were good or not. They seem to like all of them. You'd think they'd dislike Madison and Hamilton for being the libs of their day. Is it because all of them were cool with slavery
Jon McNaughton is the pioneer of the American reactionary version of Socialist Realism in painting.
I love how they don’t even put influential right wing “thinkers” in here just the latest crop of media shitheads
It’s literally just Musk and teevee man
the latest crop of media shitheads
But those are the GOP "thinkers".
