Seconding, you should check it out. Pick any season, they're self contained. Season 1 is on Iraq, Season 2 on Cuba, and Season 3 on Korea. I found 2 and 3 more engaging but I was also just too busy to concentrate when I tried to listen to S1 I think
to me season 1 is more chapo, a bit unorganized, more riffing, more jokes. 2 and 3 are like audio documentaries and extremely well crafted. season 1 still has it's charm though and is far less depressing (even if it's about depressing shit)
I find s1 to be the most depressing, but maybe thats just the contemporary nature of it.
